Our favorite American Idol contestant, Melinda Doolittle, was wrongfully sent home on last night's show.

How did this happen? We can't believe it!

Neither could Simon Cowell, who covered his face with his hands before saying, "My commiserations, Melinda, 'cause you are one heck of a singer."

She delivered flawless, knockout performances week after week, and it was clear from the beginning she was the best singer in the competition. Jordan and Blake are amateurs in comparison.

Once again, America got it wrong.

Doolittle is the official favorite!

We love her, Idol fans love her, and so does the prediction market Intrade.com, which allows people to wager real money on future events, such as the Academy Awards or presidential elections.

“Intrade says pretty conclusively that Doolittle is going to win, although Lakisha Jones, Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks are still in the picture,” says Intrade CEO John Delaney. “The predictions are not infallible, but they are historically more accurate than opinion polls,” he said.

So there’s no more need to concern ourselves with Sanjaya. Let his tasteless fans vote for him all they want, because in the end, Doolittle’s got it in the bag!

Doo...The Right Thing!

We're bored by most everyone on American Idol. The one exception is Melinda Doolittle. Her talent is leagues beyond the others...yes, we know, Lakisha's great too...but there's just something about Melinda that shines through when she performs. We love her!! We're not the only ones though...her performance of "Home" (theme from "The Wiz") brought Paula to tears...but then again, that's not saying much. Simon compared her to a young Gladys Knight. We don't love the song, but we love the Doo!

Before she sang last night, Simon and Ryan had a little performance of their own...a hilarious remix of Cleaning Out My Closet! We can't believe Simon said that on live TV!

Doolittle's Gonna Win A Lot

She's not the only one with OCD. We're obsessed with Melinda Doolittle! It's a tight race between Lakisha Jones and Melinda, but we're all about the Doo! The boys don't even have a chance against these two super talents.
