Deadly Greenwich Village Shootout

So scary. The wild gunman, David Garzan, walked into De Marco's Pizzeria and fired 15 shots at the bartender, killing him. As he fled the scene, he shot and killed two anarmed auxiliary cops, one of which was an NYU student, only two weeks away from his 20th Birthday.

Police finally caught up with Garzan and fired "at least 10 shots," a witness said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The weather was so nice last night, so there were many people out enjoying the beginning of spring. As awful as the outcome was, it's lucky more people weren't hurt.
