Planet Earth - Watch It!

This 11 hour documentary premiered last night on the Discovery Channel, and it's incredible. You may be flipping through your channels and think that it's just another boring nature documentary, but you're wrong. "It feels more like an action movie," says Newsweek's Devin Gordon.

Over a period of five years, with high definition cameras, Executive Producer Alastair Fothergill's team traveled to the most remote areas of the world to capture animals and wildlife as it has never been seen before. "Every frame had to be a Rembrandt," says Fothergill. From a pride of lions in Africa who have taught themselves how to take down an elephant, to the rare snow leopard in the Himalayas, the footage is shocking in it's brutality, and equally breathtaking in it's beauty.

Watch it! Set your TiVo or DVR. It's not to be missed!
